The Northern Australia Food Futures Conference is Australia’s leading event on agricultural development in the “North” – an area covering 53% of Australia’s land mass, but housing just 5% of the national population. In this podcast series, we sit down with a range to guests to explore the 2023 conference theme, “Northern Myths, Realities and Opportunities” and provide a preview of the discussions that will take place at the event which attracts over 600 national and international delegates. Martina has played a key role in driving innovation in the industry and encouraging future generations to consider working on farms. She formerly managed Acacia Hills Farm and has been working in the mango industry for over 20 years. In 2016 Martina won the RIRDC Rural Woman of the year award. Martina is a former board member of NT Farmers and is now a freelance technology consultant in horticultural production.
