The biennial Northern Australia Food Futures Conference, now in its 6th iteration, is the cornerstone of Northern Territory Farmers Association (NT Farmers).
They are proud to be partnering with AgForce Queensland (AgForce), Ord River District Co-operative (ORDCO) and Kimberley Pilbara Cattlemen’s Association (KPCA) on the 8th & 9th April 2025 in Darwin, Northern Territory. The conference theme is ‘Innovative Agribusiness in Northern Australia: Nurturing Natural Assets for Future Growth’ which focuses on developing new and creative approaches to agriculture in the northern region of Australia.
This conference will bring together industry leaders, researchers, and policymakers to discuss cutting-edge strategies for responsible agriculture in the unique environment of Northern Australia, emphasising the importance of preserving and enhancing our natural resources for responsible development and prosperity for future generations.
This two-day conference is the premier event in Australia focusing on agricultural growth and development in the North.

Olivia Bange - Biology in a Ball - The Crop Capsules Company

Today guest is Olivia Bange from The Crop Capsular Company
Olivia Bange grew up in Narrabri, NSW, and has always had a keen interest in agricultural innovation. She started with The Crop Capsules Company as a Biological Agronomist in 2022 after graduating with a Bachelor of Agricultural Science from University of Queensland. During her time with Crop Capsules Olivia has learned the importance of insect dynamics in cropping systems and the potential that biological control can play for pest control, whilst remaining economical for growers.
She regularly communicates with industry professionals and current and potential clients sharing insights into biological control. Olivia conducts trials and field demonstrations to deepen her knowledge, educate others, and refine techniques and protocols for inoculative biocontrol options in large-scale cropping operations. Her passion is being in the field, where she has learned about the key differences between released beneficial insects, natural beneficial populations and host pests.
